The Microtrack contains a SIRF III highly sensitive GPS chip that is able to obtain gps locks in harsh environments. Plus if for some reason this tracker is unable to attain a gps lock, the user can request a manual cell ID locate. The cell ID locate will provide the customer with the cell tower that the tracking device is communicating with and the approximate location.
This is the newest version of the device being marketed elsewhere as the sparks nano & the Enduro. The newest version we have includes a panic button & Cell-Tower ID info at no additional charge. We are currently the only service provider offering Cell-ID info.
